I know that summer is just around the corner when I see stone fruit in the shops. The nectarines are particularly good at the moment and so I have put them to use in this nectarine and almond tart, otherwise known as frangipane. I have to point out here people that the almond paste, frangipane is pronounced "frangipan" and not frangipani (which is infact a flower) as most people think. Nevertheless it makes a great sweet treat and is also very easy to make.
